Wan Chai's Old Shanghai Restaurant launches a crab meat banquet during the peak late-autumn season, with Chef Chu preparing freshly picked crab meat daily. Dishes begin with appetisers such as drunken crab in Huadiao wine and vegetarian goose, followed by hot dishes including crab meat with river shrimp, crab meat with fish lips, signature crab meat lion's head meatballs and crab meat xiaolongbao. Huadiao wine and whisky accompany the meal, which concludes with fire-roasted wonton chicken soup and preserved vegetable and shredded pork noodle soup.
