Centre for Food Safety Tests 341 Samples of Japanese Imported Seafood, All Radiation Levels Within Limits

The Centre for Food Safety has tested 341 samples of Japanese imported "aquatic products and their products, seaweed and sea salt" from noon on 30 October to noon today, and found no radiation levels exceeding safety standards. In the same period, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department tested 150 local fishery product samples, all of which passed; the Observatory has also strengthened monitoring of environmental radiation levels in Hong Kong waters and found no abnormalities.
