Japan autumn foliage forecast, second edition: Kansai region at its best in early December

Affected by above-average temperatures in September, Japan's autumn foliage forecast this year will be delayed by one week compared with last year, with early December the best time to enjoy the colours in Osaka and Kyoto. Sapporo is expected to see foliage reach its best around early November, Tokyo and its suburbs around end-November, while Kyushu will have to wait until mid-December. Peach Aviation now offers direct flights from Hong Kong to Osaka (Kansai), with connections to 10 Japanese cities including New Chitose, Sendai and Miyazaki.
