Elder Academy Development Fund opens funding applications

The Elder Academy Development Fund Committee is now accepting applications for a new round of funding. Primary and secondary school sponsoring bodies, post-secondary institutions and organisations that organise learning activities for senior citizens must submit their applications by 31 October. Each approved elder academy established in a primary or secondary school can receive a maximum funding of $122,000 to implement a three-year programme, while those that have completed their first three-year programme can apply for a maximum of $60,000 to implement a two-year programme.
