Guangdong's 5 Yachts Enter Hong Kong for First Time Under New Cross-Border Maritime Arrangement

5 Guangdong-registered yachts entered Hong Kong waters at noon on Friday and berthed at Discovery Bay Tai Pak Wan Marina, the first batch of vessels approved under the new arrangement relaxing visits by mainland leisure boats. Hong Kong began accepting applications from Guangdong yacht operators on Wednesday, and southbound captains may use 5 designated anchorages with a total capacity of about 115 vessels up to 40 metres long.
