Coca-Cola Hong Kong Launches 'Recycling Academy' to Help Circular Economy

Coca-Cola Hong Kong announced yesterday the launch of the 'Coca-Cola Recycling Academy' and released its latest consumer recycling awareness survey. The survey found that nearly 70 per cent of respondents said they would recycle beverage bottles and cans as much as possible, but 21.7 per cent were concerned that recyclables would still end up in landfill; after respondents learned that Hong Kong has local facilities to turn recycled plastic bottles into recycled plastic, more than 80 per cent said they would be more willing to take part in plastic bottle recycling.
