AstraZeneca: Hong Kong needs new healthcare financing model to attract global pharmaceutical investment

AstraZeneca said Hong Kong must establish a new healthcare financing model in order to attract more investment from global pharmaceutical companies. Over the past three years, the company has brought more than 60 clinical trials to Hong Kong and invested over HK$200 million (US$25.5 million). The company said Hong Kong remains a key research and development centre for it.
