Sun Yuk-han Says He Will Stay in Post as Chief Executive Requires, Implement New Site-Wide Smoking Ban
孫玉菡強調會按行政長官要求留守崗位全力以赴 落實施政方針
Secretary for Labour and Welfare Sun Yuk-han has apologised again over the Wang Fuk Court fire, stressing that as a politically appointed official he will stay in his post as the Chief Executive requires and give his all to implement the results-oriented governance approach. He said that 3 months after the new site-wide smoking ban took effect following the legislative amendment, the Labour Department had issued 87 fixed penalty notices, of which 27, about one-third, were enforced on the basis of information provided by members of the public. The Labour Department also conducted more than 6,900 inspections, about 430 of which arose from complaints or information provided by members of the public.
