Australian F-35 fighter jet parts went missing after being misdelivered to Hong Kong, reportedly because a UPS staff member responsible for transport missed a warning email stating that the goods could not be transshipped via Hong Kong. The parts included a cockpit canopy and weapons bay doors, and were originally due to be shipped via South Korea and Taiwan to San Francisco for maintenance. The US Department of Defense is tracing the items and investigating the incident.
