Bernard Chan: West Kowloon Cultural District 2027/28 is a watershed for operations, team pay must be world-class
Bernard Chan told the Legislative Council Panel on Home Affairs, Culture and Sports that the West Kowloon Cultural District would accelerate commercial development, with 2027/28 being a watershed as it gradually moves towards the harvest period of operations, and that team pay must reach world-class levels, while acknowledging the need for review. Betty Fung said the residential project in Zone 2B is expected to be tendered in the first half of next year, and the cultural and creative merchandise from the ancient Egyptian civilisation exhibition brought in more than HK$33 million in revenue; after the opening of the West Kowloon Performing Arts Centre next year, seating will increase to about 4,500.}}<|end_of_solution|>
