Transport Department: Over 1,500 Motorcycle Drivers Injured or Killed in Traffic Accidents in First Three Quarters

The Transport Department says more than 1,500 motorcycle drivers were injured or killed in traffic accidents in the first three quarters of this year, including 15 deaths, more than in the same period last year. The department says motorcycles are narrower and offer less protection, and reminds drivers to wear compliant helmets and conspicuous clothing, secure loads firmly and keep a safe distance.
