Transport Commissioner Tse Wing-yee this morning visited Huanggang Port to inspect special traffic and public transport arrangements for the return peak on the last day of the one-day Chung Yeung Festival long weekend holiday. The Transport Department said it will increase public transport service frequencies, adjust traffic lights and implement alternative routes, and deploy additional staff on site to support the 24-hour operation of the Emergency Transport Co-ordination Centre, using a multi-pronged approach to ensure overall smooth traffic at the port.
