Chongqing and Hong Kong today (14 October) announced that the Chongqing-Hong Kong cross-border data verification platform has come into operation, coordinated and built by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Chongqing Branch of the People's Bank of China, among others. The platform uses blockchain and data code verification for data carried by customers themselves, without involving cross-border transmission and storage of original documents. 兩人非法進口另類吸煙產品被判監七個月及五個月

一名女子及一名男子因非法進口40 000支及33 000支另類吸煙產品，十月十四日在西九龍裁判法院分別被判即時監禁七個月及五個月。衞生署控煙酒辦昨日接獲香港海關通知，兩人自日本抵港，行李中各檢獲上述數量產品。自《2025年控煙法例（修訂）條例》有關拘捕權的修訂於二○二五年九月十九日生效以來，控煙酒辦已就32宗同類案件檢控，35人被定罪判囚，刑期由四星期至八個月不等。
