截至10月2日，香港的士司機違規記分制累計229名司機被記分，其中125宗涉及拒載，3人因滿15分被停牌3個月。運輸及物流局局長陳美寶在立法會書面回覆中公布，制度於2024年9月生效；同期運輸署接獲近6,000宗的士投訴，逾600宗涉拒載。

The review took into account workload, private-sector pay trends and economic conditions, and noted that complex cases linked to the 2019 protests and the national security law had increased the criminal caseload. After the pay rise, a Court of First Instance judge will earn HK$354,050 a month, while the Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal will earn HK$423,850.

李家超未回應會否調查公務員失當 稱大埔火災委員會報告提交後追究責任

行政長官李家超稱，政府會在獨立調查委員會最終報告提交後按內容盡快推行全面改革並追究責任，但未回應會否啟動機制調查公務員失當。委員會四個月內舉行30場聽證，報告預計本月提交。宏福苑火災發生於去年11月26日，八座政府樓宇中七座受波及，造成168人死亡。

The government announced a 2.35% increase in the minimum wage for foreign domestic workers, from HK$5,100 to HK$5,220 per month, applicable to contracts signed on or after 3 October, with the food allowance remaining no less than HK$1,236 per month. Group AMCB is calling for the salary to be raised to HK$6,172 and the food allowance to HK$3,123, with spokesperson Sringatin saying HK$5,220 is still far below the living wage in Hong Kong.

The Government plans to extend the baby bonus scheme for three years, with official estimates putting spending at HK$2.3 billion, and will apply to the LegCo Finance Committee for an additional HK$1.6 billion. The first child will remain at HK$20,000, while the second child and subsequent births will increase to HK$30,000, calculated from 16 September. The document states that the fertility rate in 2025 was 0.73, and at the meeting some legislators also proposed setting up a cash lucky draw of HK$1 million to HK$4 million.

勞福局稱短期內公布外傭最低工資及膳食津貼檢討結果

勞福局表示將於短期內公布逾38萬名外傭最低工資及膳食津貼的例行檢討結果，未有指明具體日期。去年最低工資已由 HK$4,990 上調 2.2% 至 HK$5,100。外傭團體 AMCB 曾要求將月薪加至 HK$6,172，膳食津貼由 HK$1,236 增至 HK$3,123。
