Charles Ng, chairman of the board of San Tin Technopole Company Limited, said the first 2.5 hectares of land at San Tin available for development will be levelled by the end of this year, allowing productive service industries such as financial and education sectors to move in, serving as the northern centre for 'south financial'. The site is adjacent to Chau Tau Station of the future Northern Link branch line to its west, making it a place to attract people, and therefore no factories will be set up there. The senior management team taking office by the end of this year will prioritise taking stock of the condition of the 210 hectares of innovation and technology land.
