Artist Lai Wai-lam's first solo exhibition, Tranquil State, runs until 23 October at Gallery 3812 on Wyndham Street in Central, following three years of creation. The works combine fine-brush painting with geometric patterns from old floor tiles and patterned fabrics, reconstructing traces of the past, rural memories and inner struggles.
