The rebuilt Huanggang Control Point is expected to come into service in the fourth quarter. Eligible Hong Kong residents can, with immediate effect, enrol to use the "co-verification" automated channels through the Immigration Department's "Hong Kong e-Channel" mobile application. The new control point will have 134 "co-verification" automated channels and 68 traditional manual counters. After enrolling, travellers need only queue once and present their travel document once to complete the immigration clearance procedures for both Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Eligible persons aged 14 or above can also enrol for the "face clearance" service at the same time when they register.
