    About 4,000kg of retired uniforms from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre have been transformed by Hing Nin Group's local technology into eco-friendly carpet NuCarpet, making its first large-scale debut at ReThink HK 2026, covering about 400 square metres, with an estimated 400 retired uniforms used. NuCarpet took more than two years to develop and has passed wear-resistance and surface fire tests by internationally recognised testing institutions, at a cost lower than traditional disposable carpet.
