    警方荃灣路德圍住宅檢獲636萬元冰毒 40歲外籍女子被捕

    警方荃灣警區特別職務隊昨日（10日）下午約4時在荃灣展開打擊毒品行動，在路德圍一住宅單位搜查一名40歲外籍女子住所，檢獲約14.44公斤懷疑甲基安非他明（冰毒）及電子磅、透明膠袋等包裝工具，總市值約636萬元。該女子涉嫌「販運危險藥物」被捕，現正被扣留調查。

    Central Kowloon Bypass Yau Ma Tei section: rebar suspected not screwed into couplers; Highways Department says alternative design adopted

    A video circulating online of construction of the Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei section) tunnel in 2024 shows multiple lengths of rebar suspected not having been screwed into couplers. The Highways Department replied to enquiries saying the contractor assessed at the time that construction was difficult and proposed an "alternative design", drilling holes at suitable locations to insert additional rebar, which was approved in advance. The Highways Department did not specify which locations used the alternative design, nor did it explain in detail how structural safety is ensured when rebar is not screwed in. The section opened to traffic at the end of last year.

    繪圖員茫茫尋植物 兩小時運返防走樣

    中文大學出版的《香港原生植物圖鑑》輯錄數以百計彩繪圖和墨線圖，由李敏貞等兩名「半途出家」的繪圖員繪製。圖鑑收錄的植物均為稀有物種，野外並非隨處可見，尋找有一定難度。繪圖須與植物原本生長形態一致，才能準確呈現原貌。

    中文大學月前出版《香港原生植物圖鑑》第三冊，以270多頁收錄20種稀有及瀕危植物。每種植物首次加入花部結構的彩繪圖，並輔以傳統墨線科學繪圖，呈現高清照片無法突出的細節。全港有3300種植物，約十分之一被列為瀕危物種。

    Mak Mee-kuen said the government had completed public consultation on amending the Buildings Management Ordinance last month, and the amendment would encourage owners to participate personally in voting on major repairs.     Bar Association urges amendment to allow owners to apply to court to enforce building safety in corporation's name

    The Bar Association has urged the government to reform the enforcement of obligations under building deeds of mutual covenant in amending the Buildings Management Ordinance. It recommends that, where safety violations have occurred or are continuing in a building, if the corporation refuses to act or takes no action without reasonable grounds, owners should be permitted to apply to the court for permission to initiate enforcement proceedings in the corporation's name. The scheme would be limited to enforcing necessary obligations relating to building safety, and the association has put forward several other proposals for consideration.

    大律師公會就政府修訂《建築物管理條例》的公眾諮詢提交意見，原則上大部分同意5個修例方向，但不建議對「第二類大額採購」的親自投票門檻「一刀切」。當局建議門檻為業主數目5%或100人，公會認為只應在涉及重大安全考慮、潛在利益衝突或異常重大財務影響的合約設門檻，否則或影響法團日常運作。公會主席毛樂禮認同增加「授權書」透明度，建議長遠採電子投票平台以杜絕授權票問題。
