Po Leung Kuk appoints 16 national security instructors to support government training scheme
Po Leung Kuk has appointed 16 staff members as national security instructors to promote national security awareness through four levels: staff training, exhibitions, education for service users and community outreach, and will distribute national security-themed picture books to the more than 100 schools it operates. The Social Welfare Department wrote in June to about 200 subsidised non-governmental organisations, requiring each instructor to promote national security information to at least 30 people every year.
