The government announced that another new drug for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer has been approved for registration under the '1+' drug approval mechanism, bringing the total number of new drugs approved under the mechanism to 23. In response to increased usage of its "online complaint handling platform", the Consumer Council will establish a diversified new service centre at the Tseung Kwan O Government Offices, expected to begin operations in the second half of next year. Director General Shum Chiu-fai said the centre was selected for its proximity to the community and an MTR station, making it convenient for elderly consumers and those in need to seek help in person. The Middle Kowloon Bypass will open in full on December 6, with a flat toll of $8 charged to all vehicles from the same day.
