Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing plans to launch redesigned renminbi-denominated gold futures and develop more renminbi-denominated precious metals products, expanding the role of the renminbi in commodity trading and risk management. HSBC has again raised the cash rebate ratio for large mortgages, with the rebate on loans of $6 million or more raised to 1.45%, and loans of $14 million or more increased to 1.5%.
