一名女子及一名男子因非法進口40 000支及33 000支另類吸煙產品，十月十四日在西九龍裁判法院分別被判即時監禁七個月及五個月。衞生署控煙酒辦昨日接獲香港海關通知，兩人自日本抵港，行李中各檢獲上述數量產品。自《2025年控煙法例（修訂）條例》有關拘捕權的修訂於二○二五年九月十九日生效以來，控煙酒辦已就32宗同類案件檢控，35人被定罪判囚，刑期由四星期至八個月不等。
