Stanley One Stanley beam rebar not to plans; Knight Frank says it takes matter seriously and will co-operate with investigation
The Buildings Department found that a beam at a ground-floor low-level unit of a detached house at One Stanley in Stanley had its protective cover not fitted with wire mesh as required by the plans, and that the rebar arrangement in part of the floor slab also did not comply with the plans. Vendor Knight Frank Ltd issued a statement saying it takes the matter seriously and will follow it up rigorously, noting that the Buildings Department considered the property's overall structure to have no obvious danger, and that it will co-operate with the investigation, pursuing legal liability if construction errors are found.
