The Government today gazetted three pieces of subsidiary legislation related to the implementation of the Arrangement on Mutual Service of Civil and Commercial Judicial Documents Between the Mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, which will take effect on 30 March 2027. The Department of Justice and the Supreme People's Court signed the New Arrangement on 20 April this year to improve the mechanism for mutual service of civil and commercial judicial documents between the two places, replacing the Current Arrangement that has been in force for more than 27 years.
